FAQs
Q: What type of hair can I use Zero Blonde hair bleach on?
Like regular bleach, Zero Blonde is suitable for use on virgin hair or grown hair of previously bleached customers.
Q: Can I use ZERO BLOND on previously dyed hair?
ZERO BLOND can be used on healthy dyed hair that has no history of damage from regular bleach.
However, it is not recommended for hair that has been compromised by the bleaching process.
While it is less damaging than traditional bleach, it is not entirely damage-free when applied to dyed hair.
Since it’s difficult to determine how dyed hair will react just by looking at it, we strongly recommend performing a strand test on a small section before full application.
To reiterate:
For 100% damage-free results, use ZERO BLOND on virgin or newly grown hair.
If your hair is dyed, always conduct a strand test before use.
Q: Can get a white hair color through bleaching?
No, the brightest shade you can get through bleaching is yellow (level 10).
After reaching this level, you can remove the yellow tone if you achieve white blonde or gray blonde using supplemental shampoo or purple toner.
Q: Does Zero Blonde cause scalp irritation?
The level of scalp irritation caused by Zero Blonde is similar to that of regular bleach.
To minimize irritation, you can apply Vaseline to the scalp before applying the bleach.
This helps protect the skin and reduce discomfort.
Q: I used a complementary shampoo to remove yellow tones after bleaching, but it’s not working well. What should I do?
The key to effectively removing yellow tones is using the right amount of complementary shampoo, applying it correctly, and allowing enough processing time. Follow these steps for the best results:
Use the right amount – For long hair, use three times the amount of shampoo you would normally use for a regular wash.
Apply correctly – After bleaching, shampoo your hair, squeeze out excess water, and then apply the complementary shampoo.
Be sure to massage it in thoroughly, but avoid applying it to overly wet hair, as excess moisture can dilute the shampoo and reduce its effectiveness.
Let it process – After massaging, lather the shampoo but do not rinse immediately. Instead, remove the foam, reapply the same amount of shampoo, lather again, and leave it on for 10 minutes before rinsing. This will help effectively neutralize the yellow tones.
